PAGES Focus 4 Biodiversity Theme Workshop 9-11 January 2012

PAGES Focus 4 Biodiversity Theme Workshop to be held in Oxford 9-11th January 2012

"Landscape planning for the future: using fossil records to map potential threats, opportunities and likely future developments for biodiversity and ecosystem services"

PAGES and the Biodiversity Institute are hosting a Workshop to bring together palaeoecologists that are interested in making use of fossil records in order to demonstrate the dynamics over time and space of biodiversity and ecosystem service provision.  These data are essential for informing landscape planning decision making given numerous environmental changes.  See the Workshop webpage for more details.
