Oxford Long-Term Ecology Lab

Long-Term Ecology, Biodiversity Conservation, and Environmental Stewardship Technologies

I am a chemist with a PhD in atmospheric chemistry of relevance to local air pollution and global climate change. After a period of academic research, I worked for the UK Department of Environment, Food and Rural Affairs helping to coordinate research to inform national and international policy on climate change and stratospheric ozone depletion. In 2008, I joined the University of Oxford and have worked in various research and project coordination roles in the Departments of Education, Geography, Asian and Middle Eastern Studies and Physics. Most recently, I joined the Department of Biology as the administrator for Vector Atlas, a project funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and looking to deliver spatial data and model output to inform the control of mosquito vectors of disease in Africa.
